CAMP HIGHLIGHTS

Flag League

Better Athletes ... Better People | The Off Season Camps and TrainingPerhaps THE highlight of camp for everyone, athletes are broken up into teams of 7 and compete nightly in flag competition.

Flag League is a great way for campers to relax, have some fun, and get to know other campers and counsolers. A sure fire way to have a great time, and yet improve at the game they love under they watchful eyes of the coaching staff.

At The Off Season we believe that although teaching fundamentals is extremely important to one's game, we also believe that athletes need the chance to work on those fundamentals during game situations.

Our Flag League will consist of the following two age divisions:

5th and 6th graders will compete in the College Division
7th and 8th graders will compete in the Pro Division

These teams will consist of athletes playing in their position. Meaning, each team will carry one quarterback, three receivers, a center, three linebackers, and three defensive backs. Within that group athletes can rotate positions when called for, but this assures that teams will not be "quarterback" heavy, or "linebacker" heavy, giving each athlete the chance to incorperate what he has learned into a game atmosphere at his position.

Each team will be coached by a counsoler, and each team will have practice once a day, where they will incoperate their own playbook both on offense and defense.

Each Team will compete in two games a night, and all play will culminate in a double elimination tournament at the end of the week.

Night Life

Better Athletes ... Better People | The Off Season Camps and TrainingNight Life consists of some non-football things that is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. Games like Night Force Capture the Flag, Water Ballon Ralley, Pillagers Run, and other camp favorites will give campers not only a chance to wind down, but to also compete hand in hand with other campers that they may not get to work with during the day.

Depending on the game, campers are placed on small teams or large teams, with counsolers fully participating.

Each night, a diffrent game will be played, all in the name of fun and memories. From there campers will retreat to the dinning hall for a late night snack before heading back to their cabins where they can enjoy group camp fires or begin to wind down in their cabin.

Although designed to be fun, all activities are 100% supervised, and well planned out. This is a great fun filled ending to long day of hard work and improvement on the field.
